One of our long standing clients, a global organisation within the Medical Industry, are on the lookout for a Lead C++ Engineer to join their Berlin Tech Hub.

You will play a key role within the Hub for driving forward development, leading projects & upholding best practices within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Working alongside the Head of the Department across all technical topics of the business
• Taking a technical lead on all technical projects
• Performing peer code reviews, upholding best practices within the team & recommending new technology solutions
• Mentoring more junior software engineer team members
• Working closely with colleagues on software architecture and the implementation of new features

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience developing software and web applications with C++
• Proven ability to lead & inspire other team members
• Master’s Degree or PhD in a technical area (Computer Science/Maths/Physics)
• Strong experience of computational 3D geometry
• Experience with 3D engines and libraries such as OpenGL/WebGL/DirectX are a nice to have
• Fluent Language skills in English
