We are working with an award-winning data and AI company based in Zurich who are currently looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer that has good knowledge with the Azure ecosystem and some AI experience. Our client is at the forefront of building bespoke AI solutions and data platforms for their customers who are some of the most recognised brands across the DACH region.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Data Warehouse solutions, utilizing the capabilities of Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Build, refine, and sustain ETL processes using advanced tools like Databricks and Spark.
• Work on exciting Data Platforms
• Create and refine data pipelines and data models to achieve optimal performance and operational efficiency throughout the entire data ecosystem.
• Support on AI topics

Requirements:

• Good understanding of Azure Cloud Technology
• Knowledge within Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse.
• Strong experience in SQL, Python or Scala
• Experience working on Data Platforms
• Knowledge of Big Data, Hadoop and/or Spark stack
• Experience with GenAI (nice-to-have)
• German speaking (English nice-to-have)
